Two sides of the same problem
Musicians can't find the work. Organizers can't find the players. Musiter closes that gap in one place — free on both sides.
For musicians
Stop hunting. Start playing.
Every audition, sub call, and paid engagement we track, in one feed — ranked against your instrument, experience, and travel radius.
Build a profile that reflects your training
Instruments, repertoire, degrees, ensembles, and media — the things organizers actually screen on.
Get openings matched to you
Filter by role, pay, location, and date, or let the feed rank by fit. A weekly digest keeps it in your inbox.
Apply without chasing links
Apply on Musiter where we support it, and jump straight to the source when the organization runs its own process.
For organizers
Reach musicians who are actually qualified.
Orchestras, schools, churches, venues, contractors, and ensemble leaders — post once and put the call in front of trained players.
Post a need in minutes
Auditions, ongoing seats, one-off bookings, or a short-notice sub call when someone drops out this week.
Reach the right players
Your posting surfaces to musicians whose instrument, level, and location fit — not to a general social feed.
Manage applicants in one place
Review who applied, compare backgrounds, and message candidates without rebuilding a spreadsheet.
Musicians have spent too long relying on tools that were never designed for the way music actually works.
Opportunities buried in Facebook groups and email chains
Profiles that flatten years of craft into a playlist link
Networking that disappears into social media noise
Collaboration scattered across apps that don't talk to each other
Musiter gives musicians and organizers a meaningful home online — where identity, collaboration, opportunity, and discovery come together around real musical work.
For organizers, venues, students, and collaborators
For anyone looking for musicians
Finding the right musician should not require searching through scattered posts, outdated websites, unrelated social media, or word-of-mouth chains. Post what you need on Musiter and reach musicians around real musical work — from events and lessons to collaborations and ensemble openings.
Hire performers
A trio for an event, a quartet for a ceremony, a full section for a concert.
Find a teacher
Private instruction for a student, in person or online.
Book live music
Recurring or one-off dates for a venue, restaurant, or series.
Start a project
Session players and collaborators for a recording or new work.
Fill an ensemble need
An open seat, or a substitute when someone drops out this week.
Built for working musicians — welcoming to everyone who loves music
From the founder
Why I'm building Musiter
Musiter grew out of my own connection to music. I come from a family of professional musicians, and I also studied music seriously myself. Over the years, I have seen how much talent, discipline, and heart musicians put into their work — and how difficult it can still be for them to be discovered, find meaningful opportunities, or connect with the right people for collaborative projects.
Today, musicians often have to spread themselves across many different platforms. One site may be for media, another for networking, another for events, another for messaging, and another for promotion. Even then, a musician's work can easily get lost among content that has little to do with music.
I started Musiter because I believe musicians deserve a space built specifically around them.
My goal is to create a musician-centered ecosystem where performers, composers, teachers, ensembles, fans, promoters, venues, organizers, and other music-adjacent professionals can connect in one place. A place where musical profiles, events, collaborations, opportunities, and relationships can live together — with music at the center.
Musiter is being built with respect for musicians and the people who support them, and I hope it can become a helpful home for the many connections that make music possible.
— Filipp, founder of MusiTer
